Human Resources Consultant - Compensation & Benefits

Coordinate, manage, and administer compensation and benefits programs designed to attract top talent and retain valued employees. These programs include: health, dental and life insurance plans; disability; flexible spending accounts; retirement savings plans; profit sharing programs; education reimbursement; COBRA; and leaves of absence.   Shall:   Recommend policy and practice improvements in compliance with organizational objectives and government regulations.   Develop tools to assist employees in benefit selection and guide managers regarding compensation decisions.   Participate in: the merit and performance review process, benefits programs and enrollment, leave administration, policy renewals, total rewards, and employee wellness initiatives.   Prepare detailed job descriptions and classifications systems defining job levels and families.   Act as a knowledgeable resource for all compensation and benefits related questions from the staff.   Facilitate compensation changes including promotions.   Develop salary administration programs and conduct annual salary review and market comparisons.   Evaluate benefits programs to ensure that they are current, competitive and in compliance with legal requirements.   Process invoices from benefits providers and resolve discrepancies with carriers, payroll, and employees.   Analyze compensation policies, government regulations, and prevailing wage rates to develop competitive compensation plans.   Maintain HRIS database.   Company is highly rated by current and former employees for compensation, work-life balance, job satisfaction, and career advancement opportunities. Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
