- Assist veterinarians and veterinary technicians in providing care to animals - Handle and restrain animals during examinations and procedures - Prepare examination rooms and surgical areas for procedures - Clean and sanitize equipment and facilities - Administer medications and treatments as directed by veterinarians - Perform routine laboratory tests, such as bloodwork and urinalysis - Monitor vital signs of animals under anesthesia or recovering from surgery - Provide basic grooming services, such as bathing and nail trimming, for pets - Assist with dog training activities, including obedience training and behavior modification
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent - Previous experience working with animals preferred - Knowledge of animal behavior and handling techniques - Strong communication skills, both verbal and written - Ability to work well in a team environment - Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately - Physical stamina to lift and restrain animals of various sizes - Compassion and empathy towards animals Note:
